Room 22 2015

Hello and welcome back to a new year!

Room 22 has started with a roar, the children are settling nicely back into school.

This term we will be learning about:

Writing: descriptive and recounts- recounts is the major focus for the year.
Reading- making connections and inferring.
Mathematics- we have started with statistics and will be moving onto number towards to middle of the term.
Inquiry- we are looking at local heroes and what qualities that they have. We hope to make some documentaries on some of our local heroes.
P.E.- our current focus in throwing and catching, with a context of summer sports.
Art- we are sketching self portraits.

I would like to introduce Room 22:

 I will be posting all the cool events that will be happening in Marina View School and Room 22.
